Because of his extensive medical and media experience, Dr Henderson is heavily involved with PR health-related projects and now advises on health-related issues both nationally and globally. Previous projects include authoring a headline report for the At Home Society on the state of relationships in the UK today, writing a major report for the T-Mobile Group looking at 'Billness' – the stress engendered by unexpected bills and financial overstretching – and writing the major media project 'Money Sickness Syndrome' for AXA as part of a significant assessment on peoples finances in the UK in the recession. His involvement in a major campaign to highlight the effects of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) on the UK helped it win a Communiqué Award for Writing Excellence.
He has also recently become much in demand for voiceover work as well as front of camera presentations for corporate DVDs.
He remains available as a freelance PR health consultant for interested companies either for one-off projects or as a media adviser long-term.
